    4. The studio reserves the right to refuse service to any client violating these terms.
    5. Recording videos without prior permission is strictly prohibited.

  • Equipment & Instrument Policy:
    1. Artists/bands must bring their own instruments, including guitars, processor/pedalboards, keyboards, and drum hardware (i.e – hi-hats, cymbals, and pedals).
    2. The studio will provide the following instruments only: drum kit with a basic hi-hat  and single drum pedal, 2 microphones, and 2 stranger PM120 monitors and a stranger PM192
    3. Clients are fully responsible for any damage caused to studio equipment, instruments, or property during their session.
    4. Clients are not allowed to move, modify, or tamper with studio equipment without prior permission.
    5. Cables – The studio will provide one cable per instrument.

Noise & Sound Levels:
The studio will set sound levels, and clients are not allowed to change them without permission.
4. Recording, Mixing & Mastering File Submission Policy

Recording File Submission:

  • Required File Format for Backing Tracks:
If you plan to use backing tracks during your recording session, you must provide a WAV-exported version of the backing track in the project’s sample rate. This should be in karaoke track format (no vocals) to ensure clarity during your recording session.

  • WAV Exported Stems:
For any recording that includes additional instrumental elements provided by the client, WAV-exported stems of individual instruments at the project’s sample rate must be provided. We do not accept project files (e.g., .flp, .ptb, .als) or any other file formats.

  • Quality Assurance:
Ensure all files are clean, unprocessed, and free from clipping. If any raw tracks contain effects, please remove or bypass them before submission to avoid unnecessary confusion.

  • File Organization:
All tracks should be organized and clearly labeled, indicating the respective instrument (e.g., lead vocals, guitar, bass, etc.). Group tracks (like drums or keyboard layers) should be placed on separate tracks.

Mixing File Submission:

  • Required File Format:
Clients must bring WAV-exported stems of individual instruments at the project’s sample rate. We do not accept project files (e.g., .flp, .ptb, .als) or any other file formats for mixing sessions.

  • Raw Stems Only:
For mixing, stems must be provided without any VST plugins, effects, or processing (e.g., EQ, reverb, compression). These effects should be bypassed or removed from the stems to allow our engineers to start fresh.

  • File Organization:
All stems should be clearly labeled and organized by instrument or track type (e.g., drums, bass, vocals) to ensure efficient mixing. Grouped tracks (such as drum kit components) should be provided on separate tracks.

  • File Transfer:
Files should be transferred via USB drives, external hard drives, or cloud storage. The studio is not responsible for file corruption, loss, or compatibility issues.

  • Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality of your stems before submission. Files should be free from clipping, distortion, or other audio artifacts that may affect the mix. We recommend exporting tracks at 24-bit or 32-bit float resolution.

Mastering File Submission:

  • Required File Format:
Clients must bring WAV-exported files for mastering at the project’s sample rate. We do not accept project files (e.g., .flp, .ptb, .als) or any other file formats for mastering.

  • Mixing File Requirements:
The mixing file provided for mastering must have master EQ and limiter plugins turned off (or removed). The file should be a stereo mixdown with no compression or limiting applied to allow the mastering engineer to work on it effectively.

  • File Quality:
The mix should be clean, balanced, and free from distortion. Ensure that no clipping is present in the mix and that there are no unwanted effects like excessive reverb or phasing.

  • Headroom:
We recommend leaving at least -3dB of headroom in the final mix to avoid clipping. This gives the mastering engineer enough space to enhance the track.

  • File Transfer:
Mastering files should be transferred via USB drives, external hard drives, or cloud storage. The studio is not responsible for lost or corrupted files.
