Recording Guidance for Remote Clients
To ensure the best possible quality, please follow these steps while recording your vocals:
Environment: Record in a quiet and acoustically treated room.
Avoid bathrooms, open spaces, or empty rooms.
Microphone:
Ideally use a condenser microphone.
If recording on a mobile/iPad, follow these tips:
Record in the quietest room of your home.
Create a DIY booth using heavy blankets to block noise (ensure no gaps for air leakage and avoid suffocation).
Metronome/Click Track:
Always record with a click/metronome using apps like FL Studio (Android) or GarageBand (iOS).
If using two devices, use one for the metronome (with headphones) and the other for recording.
- Raw Files Only:
Submit dry/raw vocal stems without any effects (no reverb, delay, chorus, EQ, or panning).
⚠️ Important Notes:
Do not move around while recording.
Make sure no background noise or metronome bleed is captured.
Double-check your file before sending.
